The Dive: Overcoming Distractions

Sunday 25 October 7pm UK time

The Dive takes place on Sunday 25 October at 7pm (UK time). The theme for October is Distraction.

We all like to think that social media and our online lives are the biggest distractions that we have from us getting what we want in life – but what if they aren’t?

Distraction is a really hot topic right now, and I want to share with you the three things that I believe are robbing our lives of some more purpose and meaning, far beyond scrolling instagram, binging Netflix or constantly checking our messages. Come along, it will be enlightening!

What’s The Dive?

The Dive is my monthly online gathering, usually held on the last Sunday of the month at 7pm UK time, where we dive into a topic that should interest us all.

It’s a cosy, thoughtful space for women who want to spend an hour reconnecting with themselves, listening to their own thoughts and then considering how they take that forward in the month ahead.

Each session lasts an hour and is gently structured around a theme that reflects common experiences for women in midlife, or that will give them structure and tools to thrive. I begin by setting the scene for the theme, then guide you through a series of journaling prompts, exercises, and questions to help you reflect, process, and gain clarity.

You don’t need to be “good at journaling” or even have ever journaled! All you have to do is book a space and show up. Bring a notebook, something nice to drink, find a comfortable spot (bed and sofa are both very welcome), and take an hour for yourself. You won’t be asked to share and you can come and leave without saying a word.

What women say about The Dive:

‘Thank you! I feel calmer, full of resolve, like I’ve unknotted something in my head.”

“These sessions made me realise more the importance of looking after and centering myself or I can’t look after other people, or work, I have to come first. But in the nicest kindest way!”

“Last night was powerful! Thanks again. feeling really good today”

“The sessions are welcoming, really easy to get into. Very ‘come as you are’, but when that isn’t a lie and what is actually meant!”

“I always look forward to being with you, and I feel sad whenever I have to miss it”.

“I love ‘Sarah Sundays’!”
