You know one of the biggest myths in life? That the motivation to do something is just around the corner, waiting for the right time to show it’s face.
The truth? It’s not. Motivation is something you create.
So what if I could show you that motivation wasn’t something you had to wait for?
What if you could build it, slowly, gently, one small step at a time?
That’s the heart of One Small Thing.
For 30 days from 1st October, you’ll choose one simple thing. Nothing overwhelming. Nothing impossible. Just one daily action that matters to you, from any area of your life; health, business wellbeing, joy. Whatever you need to focus on right now. Maybe it’s journaling, going for a morning walk, decluttering your home, creating something new, connecting with people, or finishing a project you’ve been putting off.
Then you’ll practice showing up for it. Day by day, tick by tick, you’ll prove to yourself that you are not flaky, that you can take consistent action and get things done. And in the process, you’ll grow the muscle of self-motivation.
Because real motivation doesn’t arrive in a burst of energy and it’s not handed to you by someone else either. It’s built in the everyday moments when you choose to show up.
How it works
Step 1: Kick-off workshop
On Day 1, we’ll gather online to explore what the best focus is for you this month. You’ll get a workbook full of ideas across different life areas — health, creativity, home, relationships, work, self-care, finances — but I’ll guide you to choose the practice that feels most aligned with your life right now. You’ll choose something that feels important to you and right for what’s going on in your life, right now.
You’ll also:

Plan how you’ll stay consistent.

Decide your personal target (e.g. one thing, or more? 25 out of 30 days, so you can miss a few and still succeed).

Choose a reward for yourself at the end.
Step 2: Daily practice
For 30 days, you’ll show up for your one small thing. Some people will choose a finite project (like decluttering or completing something creative). Others will choose a daily habit they might want to carry forward (like journaling, walking, or tech-free meals). Both count and all these one small things have the power to make real changes in your life and in your self belief.
Step 3: Track and reflect
You’ll get an interactive tracker where you can mark off each day. And every Friday, I’ll send you a check-in email with encouragement, tips for staying on track, and a few reflective prompts. You’re invited to hit reply and share how your week has gone, so you’re not doing this alone.
Step 4: Celebrate and look forward
On Day 31, you’ll receive a guided reflection email to capture what you learned. Did you complete a project? Grow a new habit? Discover more about yourself? You’ll finish the month clearer, more motivated, and with proof that you can follow through. You can also come along to a live online celebration and share your success, what felt sticky and how you now feel about moving forwards.
